I'm licking my wounds after a physical ROH World Title Defense against Colt
Cabana, in a steel cage. Colt was focused and determined and took me to my
limit. I literally had to make a last second suicide dive out the cage door
as Colt was dropping to the floor to narrowly retain my belt.
To END ALL speculation, yes I did suffer a knee injury while defending the
ROH World Title in Montréal on 1/22. Because of this I unfortunately had to
cancel what was to be my Jersey All-Pro debut. I also had to pass on an
invitation for the Chikara Tag Tournament. To all those who read more into
these situations than there really was, let me say that there is only one
person who controls the decisions made about my bookings and that person is
me. As much as I hated to cancel off those shows, I simply couldn't
physically. I hope this clarifies things.
I'm looking forward to taking the ROH World Title over to Europe on March
12-13th where I'll be defending it in Switzerland and Austria. I'm also in
negotiations to set up another title defense up in Canada on March 18th. Add
to that a potential title defense at ROH's Philly show on March 5th and I
could have the chance to successfully defend the ROH World Title in four
different countries in a three week span.
I hope to have some new merchandise for sale in the next month or two, so
