After a successful trip to México, I finally had a weekend off. This was a
good thing for a couple of reasons. First, it was a chance to recharge
myself a little as my schedule and travel had been wearing me down. Also it
was a chance to rest some injuries like my re-occurring knee problem and
some neck problems I've been experiencing after receiving Samoa Joe's
muscle-buster in Chicago.
This past weekend I was out in Cali defending my PWW championship against
Ricky Reyes. It was a tough battle, probably my best PWW title defense to
date, as I able to counter his tombstone piledriver into a quick roll-up to
narrowly escape with my belt. When Rick Noon makes his way back to ROH I'd
definitely give him a ROH World Title shot.
This coming up Saturday I'll be defending my ROH World Title against the
one, the only...Spanky. This will prove to be a real challenge as Spanky is
a very experienced and unique competitor. I'll bring my A-game and my
strategy as I always do, and plan on walking out with the ROH World Title
still around my waist.
I've finalized negotiations to defend the ROH World Title in the UK. I'll
be appearing on a card on Oct. 8th facing a yet un-named opponent. I'm also
discussing the possibility of competing in Italy, Holland, and France while
I'm over there. This could be a huge opportunity to bring the ROH World
Title to new countries.
For those who haven't checked it out yet my forum is now up. I haven't
posted anything on it yet...(I'm not accustom to posting on message boards),
but I will soon. However, I encourage all of you to post any Q's, comments or
concerns you might have in regards to me, wrestling or just life in general.
