***Happy Holidays!***
***With Turkey Day, or FakeTurkey Day for us vegetarians, in the books we can
now turn our attention to the biggest consumer holiday of them all - Christmas!
The day we all exchange the latest gidgets and gadgets in celebration of the
birthday of ... Santa Claus! With the economy in a slump once again, the gift
giving and recieving may be a bit modest this year. But in reality thats not
what X-mas is SUPPOSED to be about. I DO have one gift on my wish list, and
that is for all the coporate big wigs, the corporate politicians, and the
wealthiest one percent of the population to give us ALL the gift that keeps
giving - give us back a REAL middle class. The middle class is nearly extinct.
The "have's" continue to have more than ever, while the "have not's" stuggling
to overcome, our broken system continues to grow. This holiday season challege
yourself to look deeper beyond the superficial, spoon fed, mass media message.
We all need to keep our eyes on the REAL prize (or present) and it's not the
IPhone, or a GPS system. It's a better way of life, a better quality of life,
for everyone, not just the privleged few.***
***I have a big wrestling weekend coming up as ROH returns to Dayton and
Chicago. In Dayton I'll be competing against my old partner, turned enemy,
Roderick Strong in a 30 minute Iron Man match. The man who scores the most
pinfalls or submissions in the 30 minute time limit can truly claim he is the
better man. The next night in Chicago, I face my former Resilience partner Erick
Stevens. He's returning to prove I made a mistake by breaking the group up to
focus my indivdual goals. Unfortunately for him and Roderick, I AM focused on
my individual goal of regaining the ROH World Title next month, and I plan on
using this weekend to continue gaining momentum for that match against Nigel
McGuinnes in NYC.***
***I'll have just enough time to come home and pack my bags as I leave Monday
for a week in Japan to compete for Dragon Gate once agian. I always look forward
to my trips over there (well not the flight so much) and this time is no
different. We're also in the stages of finalizing my return in January for
their 3rd annual WrestleJam shows.***
